Inhouse Movement A35
16 years of innovation in materials and functionality are embodied in DAMASKO's first in-house automatic movement, the A 35 – 1. Before its unveiling in 2010, it underwent two years of rigorous quality and functionality testing. The details not only redefine the mechanical movement but are also a feast for the eyes of aficionados of extraordinary fine mechanics. The black DAMASKO rotor, adorned with polished finishes and featuring a ceramic ball bearing, swings over rhodium-plated bridges and plates decorated with Geneva stripes. The caliber is embellished with 23 ruby jewels and blued screws, oscillating at 28,800 semi-oscillations per hour. Thanks to DAMASKO's silicon escape wheel and EPS® balance spring, the base movement is not only exceptionally precise and reliable but also resistant to shocks, centrifugal and gravitational forces, and magnetism. High-tech materials such as ceramic ball bearings and a 52-hour power reserve complete the base movement. Since its introduction, it has been enhanced with numerous modules, including a date and day display, small seconds, or a second time zone.
